The darkness gets there first. The light just follows.


There is something lonely about a silhouette. Apart from the fact that it looks lonely enough, you don’t see the solidity of the thing, or the person, or the scene – it is a mere cast, a disembodied reality. A shadow; hiding in the twilight. A darkness shown because of the light.

At one point or another, we were a silhouette.
